Antietam Healthcare Foundation, a private, non-profit, tax-exempt
organization, is a
subsidiary of Washington County Health System, Inc. The foundation's
purpose is to raise philanthropic support for the capital and endowment
campaigns of Washington County Hospital. The foundation also raises
money for Washington County Hospital's medical programs, healthcare
objectives, scientific research, educational programs, and related
community activities.
Antietam Healthcare Foundation is committed to the
wellness of the entire region. The foundation seeks to develop a lasting
relationship
with the community as Washington County Hospital enters its second
century of service.
Donors to the foundation include former patients and
their families, members of the hospital community, suppliers of goods
and services to
the hospital and friends and neighbors from throughout Washington County
and other areas that the hospital serves in Maryland, Pennsylvania,
and West Virginia.
The foundation board guarantees donors that their gifts
will be used exclusively for the purpose they designate. Donors are
assured that
information about their commitments are handled with respect and confidentiality.
